I happened to be listening on the scanner Jeff programmed for me in exchange for some stuff I did for him. An emergency evolved starting with “a man fell, hit his head, is not breathing, CPR is ongoing”. I realized I knew the location well, the man, and the other people directly involved. I made a phone call to a mutual friend who would be in a better position to take useful action, find more information, or actually execute a worthy response. July 31st I published an essay about my Neighborhood Posse concept that has yet to gain traction anywhere I know of. See maybe my posse idea was simply ahead of its time, Neighbors and communities taking charge of their own defense is far superior to allowing gubmint and other criminals a semi-monopoly on use of force. I first developed and published the concept of neighborhood posses nine years ago. It was an integral part of my plan as I made an impressive run for Ada County Sheriff. It was an excellent idea then, and was equally valuable in the distant past as well as in any future I can imagine. I have enjoyed playing trombone in The Bitterroot Community Band every summer since June of 2013. It is glorious to make music together with a large ensemble. Better still our shared enjoyment makes for good friendships. Sadly, fear of the psy-op shut down the entire 2020 season. I am not so irrational as to expect everyone I come in contact with to have studied the current war against humans or even suspect that one is going on. Those who do are certainly more valuable to humanity and greater prizes in my personal community. The American Partisan had a good one on communications that I share here. Communications are so easy now it is hard to get inspired to work at comms systems that offer no additional functionality over what we currently have. The Day will come within our lifetimes where our common communication systems are either so fully compromised or non-functional that we will wish for an alternative. The time to set those up are NOW while the technology is readily available rather than in some dark future when it is not expensive or difficult to acquire, but UNOBTAINABLE. I often have my radio scanner running or turn it on when I hear sirens in my area. Today every truck in the large well-equipped Darby Volunteer Fire Department fleet along with mutual aid trucks from Hamilton Fire, Corvallis Fire and the Darby Forest Service disappeared up the hill across the street from us. After it all calmed down I rode up there to see more of what happened. I took these photographs while there were still a few trucks making darn sure there were no flare-ups. I yelled Thank-Yous to some of the firefighters, saluted others, expressed gratitude face-to-face with the commanders.
