war

TGIF: Smedley Butler and the Racket That Is War by Sheldon Richman June 27, 2014 From 1898 to 1931, Smedley Darlington Butler was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. By the time he retired he had achieved what was then the corps’s highest rank, major general, and by the time he died in 1940, at 58, he had more decorations, including two medals of honor, than any other Marine. During his years in the corps he was sent to the Philippines (at the time of the uprising against the American occupation), China, France (during World War I), Mexico, Central America, and Haiti. In light of this record Butler presumably shocked a good many people when in 1935 — […]

Memorial Day …. beyond beer and hot dogs

… “Memorial Day the holiday however is a day that we as country pay respect to the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. They gave their lives. You will notice if you go to a cemetery or even pass one the graves are covered with flowers and flags more so than on any other day of the year. The practice of decorating soldiers’ graves with flowers is an ancient custom. Soldiers’ graves were decorated in the U.S. before and during the American Civil War. Some believe that an annual cemetery decoration practice began before the American Civil War and thus may reflect the real origin of the “memorial day” idea. Annual Decoration Days for […]

Tennis tales from the only guy the coach couldn’t beat

My Dad loved tennis and gave me excellent private lessons. The skills and techniques he taught me were a great foundation. Tennis is a very fast-moving strategy and technique game that I was uniquely well suited for. In a graduating class of 1,000 and a school of almost 3,000 students, I was not only among the smallest boys there, I was the third best tennis player in the school … including the tennis coach in that pool. Among the more important bits in tennis are hitting the ball where your opponent is not, making it as difficult as possible for him to return the ball, striving to keep him off balance, doing the unexpected… an undercut short shot just […]

Veterans’ Day

The April Fools’ Day counterpart. I mis-spent four of my younger years being what Henry Kissinger proclaimed to be “dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy”. I am thus qualified to titles variously offered us as veteran, veteran of foreign wars, Vietnam era veteran, hero and others equally meaningless to me. I gave almost no thought to who was profiting from my grossly sub-minimum-wage $100 a month labor. I served my time without question as if it were an inescapable prison sentence… not too far off the mark, in retrospect. For 3 years, 8 months and 11 days I did what I was told to do. My awakening puts me in good company many of whom […]

an elephant is like a snake

A good friend of mine spent time as a colonel in the Pentagon among other USofA Army assignments, then proceeded into working with the same folks as a military contractor representative. He is quite confident with his understanding of the military industrial complex. Admittedly it is deeper and more thorough than almost any of us can ever achieve. But is it comprehensive? Is his expertise unquestionable? I think not. Henry Kissinger, a globalist, deep-state-operative near the highest levels said, “Military men are just dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.” In shock and dismay, we can discount that quotation, but the evidence in real world applications of military force reinforce its veracity. When he finally […]

from denial to bragging

We freaks on the lunatic fringe have been screaming about chemtrails and geoengineering for years. The culprits have consistently called us “Conspiracy Theorists” and tossed us aside with our tinfoil hats in prominent display. Now poisoning the atmosphere and earth below is a GOOD IDEA. If you cannot hide it any longer, it must be: Time to FEATURE IT.   Geoengineering, long denounced as a conspiracy theory, now openly advocated by Harvard scientists to alter the climate Thursday, May 04, 2017 by: Vicki Batts Tags: chemtrails, climate control, geoengineering           24KViews   (Natural News) It seems that proponents of geoengineering are realizing that they can’t hide their sinister plans behind the mask of “conspiracy theories” forever, […]

conspiracy theories

Why NOT Believing In Conspiracies Is A Sure Sign Of Mental Retardation Monday, 19 May 2014 06:37 Mike Adams This article was written by Mike Adams and originally published at Natural News The phrase “conspiracy theorist” is a derogatory smear phrase thrown at someone in an attempt to paint them as a lunatic. It’s a tactic frequently used by modern-day thought police in a desperate attempt to demand “Don’t go there!” But let’s step back for a rational moment and ask the commonsense question: Are there really NO conspiracies in our world? The Attorney General of South Carolina would surely disagree with such a blanket statement. After all, he sued five pharmaceutical companies for conducting a price-fixing conspiracy to defraud […]
