Aaron Russo: Mad As Hell

This is a show he produced in 1991, six years before they assassinated him as a serious threat to the deep state. We met Aaron at a Libertarian Party national convention. He was a powerful, knowledgeable champion for our team. He was also a highly successful movie producer known for Trading Places, Wise Guys, and The Rose.

He talked with us personally and in his movie about David Rockefeller’s attempts to recruit Russo to the dark side: “You can do anything you want and have a permanent Get Out Of Jail Free card”. Failing that, they killed him. Mad As Hell gives some insight to where he was coming from. He produced this in 1991, but it is even more obvious and relevant today.

While this show is now 33 years old, it is every bit as relevant today, and a lot more apparent that his view was 100% correct.

It’s time to stop complaining about our politicians. If you’re tired of the government and the way it’s behaving, join Aaron Russo in his “Mad As Hell” crusade to restore the constitution to its proper role as the law of the land. The emergency WE”RE ALL FACING is that America is turning into a totalitarian country – A police state and it must be stopped.

Much more polished and a lot deeper was Aaron’s later movie Freedom To Fascism. I love what the CIA says about it:
America: Freedom to Fascism
(editor note: website and domain are no longer relevant)
America: Freedom to Fascism is a 2006 American film by filmmaker and activist Aaron Russo, covering a variety of subjects that Russo contends are detrimental to Americans. Wikipedia

Almost laughable: “…Russo contends…” No sane person would disagree with that contention.

America: Freedom to Fascism DVDs are still available, though a bit pricey on the collectible market, but downloads are also available

The movie trailer is here: America: Freedom to Fascism

This embedded video to the right is apparently a free download of the complete movie, though as we have the DVD, I did not try the full download myself, but it seems to load okay from the bit I did try.

From the archive where I found this downloadable copy is the following synopsis:

Controversial and throught-provoking are two words that describe one of the most talked-about documentaries of 2006.

Determined to find the law that requries American citizens to pay income tax, producer Aaron Russo (Bette Midler’sThe Rose, Trading Places) set out on a journey to find the evidence.

Neither left nor right-wing, this startling examination of government exposes the systematic erosion of civil liberties in America since 1913 when the Federal Reserve system was fraudulently created. Through interviews with two U.S. Congressmen, former IRS Commissioner and former IRS and FBI agents, tax attorneys and authors, Russo connects the dots between money creation, federal income tax, and the national identity card, which becomes law in May 2008 and will use Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. Could this be a precursor to an impending police state in America? Watch the film and make your own conclusions.
