My motorcycle bucked me off at close to zero miles-per-hour in my gravel driveway almost four weeks ago. Those dang two-wheelers do that from time to time. I gave it a three year rest for demand to build up. Tomorrow I begin another of my class series to help local people gain their FCC amateur radio operator technician licenses. It is quite a commitment on their parts as well as mine. We will spend a couple hours of every Saturday now through December 9th building in them the knowledge necessary to become licensed, and competent radio operators. Darby Adult Ed does the heavy lifting for me by mailing fliers out to every resident in the area. The Emergency Broadcast System (EBS) warnings you may have seen here and elsewhere on the Internet specified October 4th as the primary date with the 11th being the backup. I am suspicious that their nefarious plan was for the 11th all along. Be away from known receivers of their signals between noon and two today It certainly didn’t hurt me last week and won’t be a bad idea. There is always plenty to do away from radio receivers and making sure to be there, or specifically not within reach in a specific two hour time frame is an incredibly easy safety measure. I collected a bunch of illusion videos a while back, began loading them onto my video channel, but the time to modify them so they would load got to be more than I was willing to put in. Running their broadcast gig 22 years after their record setting show of 9-11-01 fits the criminals’ pattern of making sport of the numbers. I actually tried to imagine what significance they might attach to 10-4-23 but couldn’t come up with any. Their weaponized Emergency Broadcast Warning on the backup date fits their modus operandi much better. Whether the Emergency Broadcast System contains an assault on humans or not, the possibility is worth respecting, and removing yourself and those you care about from harms way is just too easy. The thing to do is be away from any devices that can receive those signals. That is both your devices and others. That pretty well eliminates public spaces, modern transportation and populated areas… leaving a great big world of possibilities for darn-near any of us who aren’t strapped to jobs in those spaces. People like me often consider what we may or may not do that facilitates organized capturing of information about us, our activities, and even our thoughts. Nobody wants to think along these lines, but many recognize it would be foolhardy to never consider such. Either you buy the product or you are the product. Faceplant is an example along this line. Their overtly paying customers are the advertisers. Regular participants are the audience, the product. Most likely there are other customers who receive the meta-data on all users.
