A Special Note From Elias

I wish to share something a great American poet once penned:

I am thankful for the freedom-minded spirit..

Together, this TMM family of self-aware individuals has taught me what my subconscious had in mind when I came up with the name, “The Mental Militia”. I smile now in knowing that at the time in December 1999, when I came up with such a name, I had no idea of the name’s potential.

But since then, much previously unknown knowledge has come to me, and, outside of the many books I’ve read, it came from you. For that, I am thankful.

What you have done for me:

You have taught me that my mind is mine to mold according to my conscience, and that my conscience is a receiver of spiritual influence, intuition, new knowledge, which informs and improves my vision.

You have taught me that to regiment my mind is to put my mind in order. Putting a mind in order is the work of the soul who owns a mind. In the soul, one’s mental states are arranged like an army of thoughts and visions which may be extended through one’s life on earth as loving energy, formed, shaped, and directed by the soul. .

Though I’ve yet much to learn, I am thankful for the abundance of insightful knowledge and wisdom which so many of you have shared with me in friendship.

I am thankful for the supportive spirit…

…for the silent supporters who make our mission possible behind the scenes; there are just too many friends who have helped TMM over twenty years in life, each in his or her own way…too many to name here. Please know that each of you is dear to my heart and that I am thankful for your friendship and support.

I am thankful for the compassionate spirit…

…among TMM readers.  Your generosity shows your eagerness to help spread your love in a world based on life-or-death situations which may befall any of us at any time.

But you are also sentient individuals who demonstrate empathy for man and animal alike.  I want to especially Salute! TMM members who answered the call to help a little rescue dog named Mia get the surgery she so desperately needed.
