That is: 8:00 Central, 7:00 Mountain, 6:00 Pacific
This is apparently his first official address from The Oval Office. Not everybody is excited that he can and will do it, but it promises to be 8 minutes worth watching.
I do not think mainstream broadcast media can avoid showing it, though they can snipe the heck out of it afterward. Probably the best course of action is to watch it on the Internet, replay it a few times to check for nuances. Odds are rather strong it will be a carefully planned, organized, symbol-rich show.
Interestingly, until this morning the big television networks were trying to figure out the ramifications of NOT showing it. Their wishes to not publicize gave way to the realization it would just mean more credibility and market share lost… and risk their FCC-granted monopolies.
