snapshot into the swamp

Greg Hunter’s USA Watchdog had a great interview with a co-worker of the dark deep state. We have heard many times that there are honorable people in the NSA, CIA, FBI and other entrenched forces. It is much like the bad wolf and good wolf inside of us all. The one we feed is the one who will win. In this case, we may have to help the good wolf at least a little. I would say sharing this interview would be a modest, but useful step.

pay attention to the Potomac Swamp

It is easy to grow numb regarding antics of the numskulls in Washington DC. Not a day goes by where they don’t prove themselves to be stupid, evil or both. However, the good guys in GOA are paying attention and marshaling effective action to prevent raw evil from winning. The way the game is played Democrats sell their club memberships to people who want feely-huggy, peace-loving nanny government, but screw everyone from middle class on down to impoverished and bomb any they cannot directly steal from. The Republicans sell their memberships to those who want more retained earnings, less interference, but do the same as the Democrats. The only difference between Democratic and Republican control of the swamp is the […]

Good Guys With Guns

Matrix Productions is working on a film to answer the current assault on self defense tools. They have produced a number of great films covering various socio-political topics. Each and every one is worth owning. I do, and recommend you do too. Here is a status report they send to supporters, no matter how trivial our roles. Check the links. Check the progress. Consider helping, if by no other means than buying videos from them. Progress Report 28 April 2018     Dear GOOD GUY Associate,   This past week has been a rollercoaster ride with the script, the main title, the log line and the trailer script.   As some of you know we have re-written the script for […]

statism laid bare

The Foundation For Economic Education (FEE) introduced me to Herbert Spencer’s work this morning with their post 12 Brilliant Quotes by Herbert Spencer on the Fallacies of Statism I give you four of them below. Click the link above to see the rest of their article. “Did the State fulfill efficiently its unquestionable duties, there would be some excuse for this eagerness to assign it further duties. Were there no complaints of its faulty administration of justice… of its playing the tyrant where it should have been the protector… had we, in short, proved its efficiency as judge and defender… there would be some encouragement to hope for other benefits at its hands.” “Or if… the State had proved […]

It’s only cognitive dissonance if you’re cognitive

This is too beautiful to not share, and too short to excerpt and link. These rocket scientists would have everyone but the Praetorian guard disarmed. Right about directly opposite of what their “don’t shoot” posture would dictate. These are the college students… pretty much tells you all you need to know about university-level thinking today. April 19, 2018 Carl Bussjaeger …of the contradiction between this goal… Arizona students plan to occupy state Capitol with ‘die-in’ for gun control Students with the March for Our Lives movement said they plan to occupy several buildings at the Arizona Capitol on Friday to demand Gov. Doug Ducey support stricter gun-control laws. …and this accompanying image. March For Our Lives protesters demand “their lives […]

the hidden evil in bump stock bans

Trump’s Bump Stock Regulations Can Turn 500,000 Gun Owners into Felons   Please contact Pres. Donald Trump and tell him the implementation of his proposed bump stock regulations would turn 500,000 gun owners into immediate felons. You can email him, tweet at him or call him at (202)-456-1111 or (202)-456-1414.    Not a GOA member yet? We need you more than ever right now.   Illegal Bump Stock Regs to go beyond Johnson, Clinton, and Obama in Anti-Gun Reach! Dear TED, When campaigning, Donald Trump said he would respect and honor the Second Amendment.  Instead, he continues to push ahead on bump stock regulations which would turn 500,000 gun owners into felons.  And the regulations would arguably do the same […]

big thieves go for your guns

The usual suspects are at it again. We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great ones to public office – Aesop The above quotation came to my mind as these jerks toss my life savings around like pocket change, yet would eliminate the basic human right of self-defense if they get their way. The ten thousand dollar suits do nothing to cover their ugliness. The excellent article below describes that those who would have us disarmed have come up with a new way to pull that dream off. As Mr. Greenfield points out, the current crop of disarmers happen to be the same folks who have stolen 98% of the dollar’s value over the last century. That’s the […]

asparagus

One might assume I am a pessimist expecting TEOTWAWKI too soon to do any long-term projects. That one would be wrong. While I continue my drive to be prepared for Bilderberg-engineered disasters, I also recognize their schemes continue to be frustrated by events beyond their control. So I prune fruit trees, plant blueberries and build an asparagus bed as if I might get to enjoy the fruits of that labor two or more years hence. Yesterday it was blueberries. Today asparagus. On the north side of our year-round creek I put four roots each in their own discrete beds. This is much like their natural habitat. I’m thinking they may like it a lot … and reward me by populating […]

mushroom leather

I am currently taking a weekly evening class on growing oyster mushrooms. Our instructor, Chase, spent the 6 months following his oil field job layoff studying mushrooms, and experimenting with their production. He is enthusiastically passing on what he learned. There is SO MUCH about mushrooms that I did not know. Of course the rather meticulous, involved propagation is part of that, but the nature of a mushroom colony is quite different than what I imagined. The part we all see, know and eat is such a tiny element in the being. Moreover, mushrooms exist in a huge number of varieties, most of which adapt to their surroundings in surprising ways. My weekly class is zooming over the tip of […]

A Conversation on Race

by Paul Craig Roberts This is just an excerpt below. The article is worth reading. Click the link above. – Ted We often hear that we need a conversation on race. Considering that Americans are a brainwashed people living in a false history, such a conversation would resemble the one the Russians were expected to have with the British in regard to the Skripal poisoning: “Yes, we are guilty. We will pay reparations. Where would you like us to send Putin for trial?” In other words, the only acceptable race conversation in the US is one in which white people accept the accusation that they are racist and offer to make amends. Considering that the only slavery experienced by […]

sugar stupid

We like sweet. Nature did this so we would be attracted to fruit and berries. They are good for us. Where we get into trouble are with modern refining of natural sugars and commonplace availability of fruits rather than seasonal, intermittent access. Since we abandoned our hunter-gatherer existence in exchange for our grocery store cornucopia we either learn about healthy nutrition or suffer negative consequences. I am comfortable with natural sugars like real maple syrup and evaporated cane juice, but I also have developed a mental dis-attraction to sugary foods. Easy-sneezy with that awful chemically-refined sugar beet junk or any of the chemists’ sugar substitutes. But even good sugars are too readily available for our own good. While there […]

12-volt lighting

Last month in Studio wired I showed you my breakthrough getting my studio 12-volt emergency lighting operating. I accomplished a couple of refinements recently. Besides the obvious advantages of having lights regardless of power grid failures, my 12-volt LEDs provide lighting options in addition to, instead of, or in combination with the various 110-volt lights I have installed. Prior to connecting up my antique meters, I was running on a gut-feeling that I had to be real conservative in my use of the 12-volt to avoid excessive depletion of the batteries, thus shortening their lives. The meters tell me I was wrong by A LOT. While modern digital meters consume almost no energy, my antique analog meters have a […]

global debt, an out-of-this-world view

This is an excellent article that explains a lot and conjectures in an unusual way … that cannot be discounted out of hand. Global Debt is Now an Insane $164 Trillion, but Who Exactly Do We Owe? Isaac Davis, Waking Times If you’ve ever wondered why the world seems hopelessly fraught with endless conflict, ruled corrupt states, and bent on developing a never-ending supply of advanced weaponry, you’d need to understand the nature of our debt based economy. The IMF has just reported that total global debt is now at a staggering $164 trillion, which amounts to 225% of total global GDP. Every person on this planet could turn over everything they produce for the next two plus years and […]

gas attack logic

Many have thought it, but these guys are clearly explaining how ridiculous the official story of Assad’s gas attack are. The only way to buy it is without consideration. Any thought at all shoots the story down in a glorious ball of fire. If, after this announcement, we end up with headlines announcing proclaiming another gas attack by Assad against his own people, do not believe it. He [Assad] may be a tyrant, but he’s not an idiot. The US leaving his country is good for him, and a gas attack prevents the US exit. https://t.co/CXVygfCsBV — Steve Cox (@RealSteveCox) April 4, 2018 On his show Redacted Tonight, Camp questioned the timing of the alleged chemical attack just a week […]
