I have not looked for a long time at the statistics maintained by my web hosting service.

December 2017 statistics:
Average number of visits per day = 541
Average number of pages viewed per day = 1357
Average website hits per day = 1787
Almost 500 of those visits lasted over a half hour.

As I said, I have not been looking at these stats for a long time. I had not noticed the growth.

It now is unsurprising that my websites got hacked last October. There is enough traffic to be worth trying to steal or subvert. I probably ought to up my defensive game a notch or two.
