By Ted Dunlap, on April 24th, 2017 I had to knock a couple years’ worth of dust off my reloading gear and a lot of cobwebs out of my reloading brain, but I reloaded a test batch of 300 AAC Blackout ammo up today. This is a new cartridge for me. It is somewhat young to the shooting world, but hugely popular already. Wildcatters cut down a .223 case, opened it up to .30 caliber and stuffed various weights of bullets into it. As often happens, gun and ammo factories saw a good thing and adopted it for commercial production. It is definitely a strange thing with big, fat, long bullets filling the top half of shortened little 5.56 cases while the bottom half is full […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 22nd, 2017 Back in the old days and the ancient times, many cultures embraced people with long hair, because they believed that long hair was a sign of strength and spiritual maturity. The Native Americans and the Chinese are just a few examples of the many cultures that value long hair, which was why the men and women of these cultures back then rarely cut their hair. Even though back then many cultures believed that having long hair was beneficial to the body, is there evidence today that supports the belief that long hair can make a person more intuitive? How long hair can make you more intuitive If you study Nature deeply enough, you should know that Nature would never create […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 20th, 2017 Yaesu FT=60R Dual Band Handheld $172Baofeng dual band UV5R handheld $36Below, I am republishing information about a class this coming Saturday. Today and tomorrow I am refining the information I will be presenting and the exercises we will be doing. As I assemble the video clips, handouts and class outline, I recognize the value I am offering. Even my family and best friends won’t get the information out of me in a more organized, concise way. On either side are two choices of dual-band radios. To the left is the $172 Yeesu. It could be a Motorolla, Kenwood or other well-established amateur radio producer. The price could run from around $170 on up to $300 or more. They feel dense; […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 19th, 2017 I often enjoy The Woodpile Report. I’m sharing this one snippet from the current version. There is much more good writing there. Check it out. Meanwhile, this tidbit: It’s time for us to have a talk. The one about the birds and the bees. I’m going to tell you the facts so you don’t get confused or misled by people who are not your friends. Okay, here goes. It’s this way. People are biologically male or female. Male or female are people’s sex, not their gender. People don’t have genders. Words have genders. Word genders are masculine or feminine nouns and pronouns. “She” and “he” are genders. “His” and “her” are genders. That’s because language is a “social construct”. […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 18th, 2017 There is a great essay at Everything Voluntary .com about the pending demise of the government-controlled, government-mandated training system covering our children like a suffocating, wet blanket in that space from potty-trained to full time worker bees. Peter Gray shares my view that this monster is staggering and is bound to fall. He articulates four big reasons quite well, including optimism that it may happen sooner rather than later. I shared bits of them below, but left out A LOT. Click on the title below to get the full article. And, oh yes, check out the Everything Voluntary .com website. There is much there to appreciate. Ted ——————————————————————————- Why Our Coercive System of Schooling Should Topple … 1 …Children […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 17th, 2017 This very imprecise chart represents a lifespan on the X-axis and knowledge of the world, culture, on the Y-axis. Place yourself, where you are today on the X-axis. Do you know less today than you did last week? Or are you still increasing your knowledge? Do you expect to forget more than you learn anytime soon? How do you feel you compare to yourself ten years ago? Where do you expect to be ten years in the future? … STOP Take a few minutes to mark your spot Where are you today? … There are significant reasons those who would rule the world broke up the nuclear family and segregated children and adults by age. Primary among them is […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 16th, 2017 You likely noticed that I have not posted here for a week. There are two primary reasons for that. For one, I updated the operating system in the computer I use for writing and maintaining my websites. This isn’t my first rodeo, so of course I have good notes on every login I use in the world wide web. Except, oops, my notes for the maintenance logins were incorrect. I had to get around to resolving the login problem. Thus it was neither convenient nor easy to post fresh content here. The bigger reason is probably best called “emotional overload”. The Bilderbergs, as I’ve been calling the ruling elite, or The Deep State as many others of similar awareness […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 9th, 2017 Washington Has Crossed Russia’s Red Line By Paul Craig Roberts PaulCraigRoberts.org Washington’s military attack on Syria is unambiguously a war crime. It occurred without any UN authorization or even the fake cover of a “coalition of the willing.” Washington’s attack on Syria occurred in advance of an investigation of the alleged event that Washington is trying to use as its justification. Indeed, Washington’s story of Syrian use of chemical weapons is totally implausible. All chemical weapons were removed from Syria by Russia and turned over to the US and its European allies. Syria has no such weapons and has no reason to use them and every reason not to. Moreover, it is none of Washington’s business whatsoever what weapons […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 8th, 2017 In reading the Neighborhood Emergency Response Handbook I found a lot of valuable information. I encourage you to purchase and read the book yourself. I share with you an insight the book gave me about PTSD – post traumatic stress disorder. Modern media would have you believe it is limited to young [foolish] people the military industrial complex sent to kill or be killed for fun and profit. It is more widespread than that. In the Neighborhood Emergency Response Handbook I found a discussion of PTSD for people who have experienced disaster of any source, in any role. Holey smokes! I have been-there-done-that… and been around other victims. I will send you to page 136 of the above linked book […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 7th, 2017 Ruling elite insanity is not new. Parasites live as long as the host allows. The Founders left us four boxes to defend our freedom. The Ballot Box. The Soap Box. The Jury Box. And the Cartridge Box. This morning I woke up with this pleasant thought banging (hard) around in my head: Through various machinations, they have eliminated the first three of the above. This is not news to me. It shouldn’t be news to you. The ruling elite is comprised of psychopaths, fools and knaves. Some portion of them do ridiculous things out of ignorance. They disgust me. The other portion are devious. Them I hate. Neither will have my sympathy when our society finally breaks down. There is […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 3rd, 2017 I am pointing you to an article so powerful and well assembled that I have difficulty finding excerpts that do it justice. Yet I respect the work that went into it too much to republish here. I will give you a few tidbits, but click on the links to read it from the original publisher. PHARMAGEDDON …Over 70% of Americans are on some form of pharmaceutical drug that often brings negative side-effects, including death. Iatrogenic death, or “death by doctor”, is considered the third leading cause of death in America, conservatively speaking. Some experts interpret the data to read iatrogenic death as the number one cause of death, and they have a great deal of evidence to back up […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 2nd, 2017 BaoFeng UV-82HP$62.89UHF / VHF128 ChannelsOutput: 7 Watts I have helped well over a dozen people earn their amateur radio licenses. But I recognize the effort to study for, and pass the FCC exam is not for everybody. Much more accessible is The General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) licensed radio service. A $70 FCC GMRS license has no testing requirements and covers your entire family’s use for 5 years. BAOFENG makes good, affordable radios that can listen to several other bands and legally enable you to transmit, that is communicate, via GMRS channels. Significantly, unlike the inexpensive blister-pack big-box-store radios, these transmit at much higher powers, and are capable of utilizing repeaters for long-distance communications. My favorite of their current offerings […]
