How to trigger nuclear Armageddon

Those dang Russians are provoking war. I mean, look at where they put their country… right smack dab in the middle of thousands of US troops, sailors, NATO troops, war machines, small-medium-large armaments, and nuclear missile launchers.

I have been watching in horror as The War Party, (aka: the military industrial complex, aka: the Ds and Rs, aka: the new world order, aka: the psychopaths and sociopaths) constantly and continually provoke Russia and China with trade wars, monetary wars, and military threats. At some point the targets will no longer be able to wait for the lunatics in charge to launch their attacks.

The next day, what is left of our world will be unrecognizable.

I want you to find the Baltic Sea, Black Sea, the Sea of Japan, Estonia, Turkey, Norway, Latvia, Syria, Finland, Iraq, Ukraine, Germany, Japan, Sweden, and South Korea on the map. These are the places recently militarized and reinforced by US and NATO forces. D’ya suppose they pose a threat to the security and safety of the Russian people?

Special credit if you can find Crimea, whose people chose to secede from Ukraine and rejoin Russia after the USofA-created coup unseated their elected president and inserted a puppet government.

Russia map

Below I have clipped articles with links to a wide range of sources covering the last year+ of moves by the Nobel Peace Prize winning USofA President to provoke Russia (and China). While you might want to think “Nobody would do that”, you need to remember that 1) They are, and 2) They even told you why. See helping you swallow. But don’t get side-tracked. Read on below.

They are doing this. These are widely published facts from their own media.

Speaking of whom, at the bottom of this article is a recent video with subtitles of Putin asking the mainstream media propagandists to think of what they are doing.

NATO forces put on a show of strength within yards of Estonia’s Russian border, with armored personnel carriers, tanks and 1,300 Estonian soldiers forming a military parade. The parade, which also included 100 troops from Britain and other European nations, followed warnings from David Cameron on Tuesday that the Baltics could be next in Russia’s sights for a Crimea-style annexation.

A former Polish military base in the town of Ciechanow may now be used to house American troops

Earlier in July, the US announced plans to place its anti-missile systems in Poland, despite an agreement having been reached on Iran’s nuclear program aimed at ensuring its peaceful nature. NATO forces have also considerably increased their military exercises in Eastern Europe since last year, engaging in frequent drills close to Russia’s borders.NATO massing APCs

Another country in the region, Estonia, will receive 68 million dollars to develop its military bases’ infrastructure, Estonia’s defense ministry announced on Friday.

Russian jets keep buzzing U.S. ships and planes

In January a Russian jet fighter came within 20 feet of a U.S. RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft flying over the Black Sea. In October, U.S. Navy jets intercepted two Russian Tu-142 aircraft that were flying near the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan in the Pacific Ocean.

In an incident in June, a Russian Su-24 jet flew within 500 meters — 1,640 feet — of a U.S. guided-missile destroyer that was sailing in the Black Sea near Crimea.

Baltic Sea Heating Up as Friction Point Between U.S., NATO and Russia

…the navies of the region are all relatively small, they all pack some punch. The German navy operates 15 surface combatants along with five submarines. Poland is in the process of a major modernization of its naval forces, and Sweden operates one of the finest conventional submarine fleets in the world, albeit a small one. The Baltic States have built up considerable experience in mine-hunting since regaining their independence in the early 1990s. The nations of the region also operate considerable airpower, including F-16s, Eurofighters, F-18s, and JAS-39 Gripens.Norway is currently introducing the F-35 into service. All in all, there are over 400 modern combat aircraft in the region, some of them capable of conducting electronic warfare as well; an important aspect of defeating A2/AD networks…

US Navy Flagship Heads Out for Largest Annual Int’l Drills in Baltic Sea

The U.S. has kicked off one of the largest annual naval exercises in northern Europe, bringing 15 allies to the Baltic and NATO partners Sweden and Finland.

Baltops 16 runs in tandem with two other annual U.S.-led events in the region, the Dragoon Ride and Saber Strike, which are primarily land and air based and are already under way this year. The three events have gained increased significance in recent years as tensions between Eastern European allies and Russia have run high over the Ukraine crisis.

The U.S. has deployed around 60 military aircraft, including B-52 bombers, for the exercise that will see allies practice anti-air warfare, anti-submarine warfare and maritime mine clearance, plus defense against asymmetric attacks and a range of other naval scenarios.

Around 6,100 allied troops will take part in the exercise in areas between Estonia, Finland, Germany, Poland and Sweden. Baltops runs in tandem with the 10,000-strong Saber Strike, set to continue until mid-June and last month’s 6,000-strong Spring Storm drill in Estonia.

NATO Buildup on Russia’s Borders: Mobilization for War or ‘Just Business’?
A Yars mobile land-based missile system being transported to its field combat duty site.
“What NATO is mobilizing there is a lot more than a couple of divisions here and a couple of divisions there, some armor here and some there,” he explained.

“We need to understand that tens of thousands of western troops will be parked now permanently, they may say that they are rotating, but they are there permanently on Russia’s borders. Along with nuclear-ready missiles, along with a lot of tanks and, above all, in Russia’s eyes, the missile defense installation,” he added.

US Builds Up Forces All Around Russia, Blames Moscow for Holding on to Nukes

This is so serious, so fraught with the possibility of war, he said, adding that this NATO buildup has gone beyond the Cold War, and that Russia is only reacting in response.

This, the professor explained, is already beyond the Cold War, where nobody dies, this is already a “pre-war” stage, and what we are witnessing is a mobilization to war.

US naval air manoeuvres become the ‘new normal’ in Asia-Pacific
US military moves in recent months have led to angry protests from China and Russia

American ships and fighter jets manoeuvring across the South China Sea and the Sea of Japan (East Sea) represent the “new normal” in US-Pacific relations despite rising tensions with China and Moscow.

US moves in recent months have led to angry protests from China and Russia, which contend the Obama administration is fueling unrest in the Asia-Pacific and conducting illegal and unsafe transit in the region. US military leaders defend the operations and say they will continue to exercise freedom of navigation, and may do so more frequently as time goes on.

Russia is building an army base near its border with Ukraine, the latest in a chain of new military sites along what the Kremlin sees as its frontline in a growing confrontation with NATO.

While there have been no clashes between the former Cold War rivals, Russia is building up forces on its western frontiers at a time when the NATO alliance is staging major military exercises and increasing deployments on its eastern flank.

Russian Spy Ships ‘Shadowing’ US Navy & NATO Vessels In Baltic Sea

Vice Admiral James G. Foggo, who is leading the major exercise, said “What we have seen is shadowing by two Russian intelligence vessels”

He added that the Russian ships were “well behaved” but have refused to communicate with the U.S. Navy despite coming as close as one mile at times with U.S. and allied vessels.

Press TV reports:

The exercise, involving US and NATO vessels, includes more than 40 ships and some 6,000 sailors, airmen and marines conducting training operations from June 3-19.

U.S. says it will stay in Black Sea despite Russian warning

Aboard the USS Mason, another U.S. destroyer, in the Mediterranean on Thursday, Navy Secretary Ray Mabus told Reuters that it was the U.S. Navy’s job to deter aggression and keep sea lanes open.

“We’re going to be there,” Mabus said of the Black Sea. “We’re going to deter. That’s the main reason we’re there — to deter potential aggression.”

Mabus spoke days after Russia criticized NATO discussions about a creating a permanent force in the Black Sea.

“If a decision is made to create a permanent force, of course, it would be destabilizing, because this is not a NATO sea,” Russian news agencies quoted senior Foreign Ministry official Andrei Kelin as saying.

The NATO summit takes place as relations between Russia and the alliance are severely strained over Moscow’s role in the Ukraine crisis and in Syria. While Russia says it poses no threat to alliance, NATO is considering what to do to counter what it sees as growing Russian aggression.

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borisov said he would not join a proposed NATO fleet in the Black Sea because it should be a place for holidays and tourists, not war.

Also increasing tensions with Moscow is the U.S. Navy’s deployment of two aircraft carriers in the Mediterranean ahead the NATO summit as Washington seeks to balance an increase in Russian military activities in the Mediterranean.

Canada will deploy 1,000 soldiers in Latvia to one of four battalions Nato is assembling in eastern Europe

Along with the US, Britain and Germany, Canada “will establish and lead” a high-readiness brigade that will “contribute to Nato’s enhanced forward presence in Eastern and Central Europe,” the defense ministry said in a statement, adding that more details would be provided at a Nato summit in Poland next month.

“As a responsible partner in the world, Canada stands side by side with its Nato allies working to deter aggression and assure peace and stability in Europe,” defense minister Harjit Sajjan said in a statement.

The announcement comes a day after the US president, Barack Obama, challenged Canada to do more to support Nato during a speech in the Canadian parliament.

The alliance is embarking on a military buildup on its members’ eastern flank unprecedented since the end of the Cold War.

United States and NATO Preparing for a Major War With Russia
Massive military exercises and a troop buildup on NATO’s eastern flank reflect a dangerous new strategy.

The United States, of course, is deeply involved in these initiatives. Not only will it supply many of the troops for the four multinational battalions, but it is also taking many steps of its own to bolster NATO’s eastern flank. Spending on the Pentagon’s “European Reassurance Initiative” will quadruple, climbing from $789 million in 2016 to $3.4 billion in 2017. Much of this additional funding will go to the deployment, on a rotating basis, of an additional armored-brigade combat team in northern Europe.

As a further indication of US and NATO determination to prepare for a possible war with Russia, the alliance recently conducted the largest war games in Eastern Europe since the end of the Cold War. Known as Anakonda 2016, the exercise involved some 31,000 troops (about half of them Americans) and thousands of combat vehicles from 24 nations in simulated battle maneuvers across the breadth of Poland. A parallel naval exercise, BALTOPS 16, simulated “high-end maritime warfighting” in the Baltic Sea, including in waters near Kaliningrad, a heavily defended Russian enclave wedged between Poland and Lithuania.

All of this—the aggressive exercises, the NATO buildup, the added US troop deployments—reflects a new and dangerous strategic outlook in Washington. Whereas previously the strategic focus had been on terrorism and counterinsurgency, it has now shifted to conventional warfare among the major powers.

The UK will deploy hundreds of troops in response to growing concerns over Russia’s presence on its border with the Baltic states.

Defence Secretary Michael Fallon says 650 troops will be sent to eastern Europe to help Nato in its mission to “deter Russia from any further aggression”.

A battalion of 500 soldiers will be sent to Estonia while 150 troops will be based in Poland, Mr Fallon confirmed, with the UK assuming leadership of Nato’s standby force early next year.
