By compatriot, on April 29th, 2014 New Probe Confirms Harry Reid’s Long History of Corruption Written by Bob Adelmann The seemingly Teflon senior senator from Nevada, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, has been forced to respond to charges made in a two-part investigation into his dealings published last week at RealClearPolitics. The initial investigation looked into multiple claims of corruption, and responses from Reid’s PR people failed to deflect them. Adam O’Neal led off with a relatively innocuous charge that in 2012 and 2013 Reid’s campaign staff spent some $30,000 buying appreciation gifts for his donors from a store owned by his granddaughter. It was a small thing: The amount spent by his staff was seven times more than the staff spent elsewhere, combined. In the […]
By compatriot, on April 28th, 2014 Pulitzer Prize – winner Chris Hedges: Using fake evidence is usual Washington tactic April 28, 2014 08:30 Chris Hedges Download video (215.3 MB) The crisis in Ukraine and the steadily dropping temperature in relations between Moscow and Washington made many talk about a new Cold War; and many others are worried it may turn ‘hot’. But there’s another war going on right now: the information war. US Secretary of State Kerry has already attacked RT, calling it “Putin’s propaganda machine.” But Washington itself uses dubious evidence and fake facts. What is the information war? What methods is America using? Sophie talks to Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and veteran correspondent Chris Hedges. By compatriot, on April 26th, 2014 Verizon to monitor wireless devices, computers and share data with advertisers Get short URL Verizon Wireless will monitor customers’ activities on wireless devices as well as wired or Wi-Fi-connected desktop computers and laptops. Collected data on users’ online activity will then be passed to marketers for targeted advertising. Verizon customers recently began receiving a notice from the company that it is “enhancing” its Relevant Mobile Advertising operations to glean more information from its customers, the Los Angeles Times reported. “In addition to the customer information that’s currently part of the program, we will soon use an anonymous, unique identifier we create when you register on our websites,” Verizon Wireless tells customers. “This identifier may allow an advertiser to use information […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 23rd, 2014 In late February, Dallas Erickson presented to the Bitterroot Amateur Radio Club a view of the risk behind the Painted Rocks Dam. Nature has a way of returning these canyons to their original state. The transformation is usually spectacular… particularly to those humans who live in the path or know someone who did. On February 23rd I wrote about the risk potential: Dam Threatens Darby, Conner, Hamilton. I also posted Dallas’ write up here: Painted Rocks Dam. We need to act now. A dam failure would likely begin with a change in shape of the dam face that can be measured by simple technology. Next would be an extraordinarily rapid rise in water levels that also can be measured by […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 23rd, 2014 One of our favorite news shows is The Keiser Report. In the first half, Max and Stacey discuss current topics, mostly with insider views of the financial system of Britain, USofA and beyond. They are very expert, accurate and incisive – also flamboyant, clever and cute. The second half is sometimes of little or no interest, but others are great. Max interviews unusual experts from a very wide range of fields and current topics. They are big fans of crypto-currencies, which, in our financial situation, hold little interest at all for us personally. The second half of this show, Episode 590, is HUGE. The guest interviewed remotely from San Francisco pulls together the missing BIG MONEY reasons the Bilderberg Group […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 22nd, 2014 Out in the boonies, we have only two choices for Internet access. Neither is great, but surprising me, the cell-phone provider from a tower 4.5 miles away is unreliable while the satellite 25,000 miles away is pretty good by comparison. For about the same price, both limit us to 10 gigabytes per month anytime and an additional 10 gigabytes in the middle of the night. In my case that means I can get a couple hours of bonus bytes between 0600 and 0800 fairly often. I use that for our heavier consumption downloading video news programs like The Kaiser Report and SophieCo which take around 220 Kb for each half-hour show. Even with those shows shifted into “bonus byte” time […]

By Ted Dunlap, on April 20th, 2014 The obfuscators have their mystical language so you can admire their superior knowledge and assume you just don’t understand economics. That has been the design of Keynesian economics from its inception. You could learn Austrian Economics. It does, after all, not only make sense, it proves itself reliable time after time, regardless of when and where you apply it. Making it much easier, the two charts on this page give it to you in a clear, simple picture. You don’t have to even read a little pamphlet to GET it. Pictured here is what happens when you allow individuals to print money out of thin air – for fun and profit. Even the uneducated can utilize the lower chart […]
By compatriot, on April 18th, 2014 Dear MSSA Friends, Montana Attorney General has let pass my deadline of Noon today (it’s now after 2PM) to at least acknowledge my request that he look into the details of the recent federal raid on the Bozeman brass recycling business. Pasted next below, for your information, is the strongly-worded followup message I sent to Fox on Tuesday, becoming more insistent that he conduct some sort of inquiry into the federal raid in Bozeman, and giving him until Noon today to respond. Of course, he doesn’t like being told what to do (as he may see this), even though he’s a public servant. Apparently, he thinks it’s just not important to stick up for Montana people. Now, I need your […]
By compatriot, on April 16th, 2014 Anti-govt protesters seize Ukrainian APCs, army units ‘switch sides’ (VIDEO clips) Editor’s note: the report published by RT has five short video clips that you can see at their site (link below). It appears that the Ukrainians are a bit brighter than our non-Oath-Keeping military and paramilitary attack dogs. Get short URL Download video (3.67 MB) Kiev’s military faced off with protesters in east Ukraine on Wednesday to sort out their differences…and found none. Soldiers appeared reluctant to go into battle against anti-government activists. When Ukrainian Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs) entered downtown Kramatorsk as part of Kiev’s military operation against anti-government protesters in the east of the country, they were stopped in their tracks, surrounded by crowds of local residents. By Ted Dunlap, on April 15th, 2014 Prostitution is the most lucrative business in the District of Criminals. I do not use that word arbitrarily. pros-ti-tute 3. a person who willingly uses his talent or ability in a base and unworthy way, usually for money 4. to sell or offer oneself as a prostitute This comes into the forefront of my mind as Harry Reid unleashes the BLM, DHS. NSA, CIA, contract snipers and the Las Vegas metro police on a family cattle ranch that predates the state of Nevada. All for fun and profit – his, that is. While this particular example may spark a major shooting war between the government and the governed, it is only ONE EXAMPLE. These people infesting DC did not honestly […]
By Ted Dunlap, on April 15th, 2014 There are some very powerful people who have done their best to cover up what really happened at the Bundy ranch in Clark County Nevada. Fortunately they failed. In this we’re going to present you with evidence of blatant corruption and criminal activities that anyone, including law enforcement, can easily verify. But before we go into the details, it’s important to acknowledge here, that the political left and the political right are watching this crisis through very different eyes. You on the left saw this old rancher defying the Federal government over cattle grazing fees, with right wing pundits pleading his case, and armed militia moving in to intervene… it probably gave you the impression of Tea Party temper tantrum… […]
By compatriot, on April 15th, 2014 Oligarchy, not democracy: Americans have ‘near-zero’ input on policy The first-ever scientific study that analyzes whether the US is a democracy, rather than an oligarchy, found the majority of the American public has a “minuscule, near-zero, statistically non-significant impact upon public policy” compared to the wealthy. The study, due out in the Fall 2014 issue of the academic journal Perspectives on Politics, sets out to answer elusive questions about who really rules in the United States. The researchers measured key variables for 1,779 policy issues within a single statistical model in an unprecedented attempt “to test these contrasting theoretical predictions” – i.e. whether the US sets policy democratically or the process is dominated by economic elites, or some combination […]
By compatriot, on April 13th, 2014 Alternative media upstages lamestream media in world-class coverage of historic Bundy Ranch showdown NaturalNews Network NaturalNews.com April 13th, 2014 by Mike Adams One of the most extraordinary stories in the history of American journalism took place this last week, and the mainstream (liberal) media was AWOL the entire time. An historical showdown between heavily armed federal agents (BLM) and armed American citizens unfolded near Bunkerville, Nevada, where the Bundy family announced they were taking a stand against a federal land grab and cattle theft operation masterminded by federal agents working at the BLM. The showdown ended in a complete victory for Citizens vs. government tyranny as the feds effectively surrendered, announced their evacuation and agreed to release all the […]
