on the list

Many of us know we are on a list, or a number of them. Count me in that group. Claire Wolfe categorizes us as ghosts, moles and activists. It is that latter group that makes it on most lists. Sadly for the rest of you’se guys, you can land on destructive and deadly lists even as a mole or ghost. Connecticut today is a perfect example. A handful of sub-human carbon-units elected to turn law enforcement forces against the people. It is estimated that well over 100,000 people within Connecticut borders have rifles banned by these treasonous murderers. Lest you think my language strong, watch the show closely. People are going to die over this abhorrent policy decision completely devoid […]

life in the clouds

Driving into town I was impressed that thick snow slop on the road was pulling our Subaru every which-away. The 45mph I felt safe was apparently identical to what the snowplow a quarter mile back was doing. I took a side road, hung a U-turn, then pulled onto the highway behind the plow. AH YES, much more stable with most of the snow pushed off the road. Missy was impressed that I was clever enough to put the snowplow to work for us. Yeah, I smiled to myself, that isn’t normal, is it? I resumed matching snow plow speed with our quarter mile separation now having him in front. A few car lengths behind the plow was a delivery van […]

hot spot colds

Wi-Fi computer virus goes ‘airborne’ like common cold Reuters / Keith Bedford Researchers in Britain have shown for the first time how a computer virus can spread through Wi-Fi “as efficiently as the common cold spreads between humans.” The ‘Chameleon’ Wi-Fi AP-AP virus infiltrates dense networks and spreads at an alarming rate. Chameleon was designed by a team of researchers from the University of Liverpool, and displayed a ‘remarkable amount of intelligence’ in its capacity to spread in a similar way to the common cold. The virus “was able to avoid detection and identify the points at which Wi-Fi access is least protected by encryption and passwords,” according to a release published on the university’s website. The areas which are […]

stealing from smart phones

Massive 20-fold increase in Trojans targeting mobile banking – Kaspersky Reuters / Kim Hong-Ji Kaspersky Labs is reporting an incredible 20-fold explosion in the theft of financial details from mobile devices. Fully 98 percent of malware is breaching banking apps made for Google’s Android OS platform, the IT security company says. “Cybercriminals have become obsessed by this method of illegal earnings,” the firm says in a report, specifying that while at the beginning of 2013 Kaspersky Labs had “portraits” of 67 banking Trojans, by the end of the year there were already 1,321 “unique samples.” All in all, Kaspersky catalogued 143,211 “new modifications of malicious programs targeting mobile devices” such as smartphones and tablets in 2013, compared to 40,059 in […]

Reflections on Education

Editorial By Tibor Machan Public education is nearly a fixture not only in this country but nearly everywhere in the Western world. It is pretty much agreed by most concerned parties that children need to be placed into school, starting around age 6, and kept there to be provided with schooling – for public school teachers to instruct – until they reach around their 18th year of life. Some have dubbed this the “12-year sentence,” but most of the public, not to mention those who are members of the educational establishment, find it quite acceptable, if at times in need of some upgrading. While the fundamental issue of whether there ought to be such a system is rarely discussed […]

what did you learn in school?

HEY YOU. Yes, YOU out there. This is a serious question. I want you to answer for yourself. What did you learn in the 4th grade that you A) still use today and B) wouldn’t have learned another way? Oh. So the public school system STOLE a year of your life for nothing. Let’s try again. What did you learn in the 8th grade that you still use today and would not have learned another way? Oops. Another year of your life stolen by the government school near-monopoly. One more try. What irreplaceable thing did you learn in the 2nd grade? Real educators can teach reading and writing to an interested person in a few months. Real teachers can impart […]

Yawn. Another Big Drug Bust

by Jacob G. Hornberger U.S. officials and the mainstream press are going gaga over the latest drug kingpin to go down. This one’s name is Joaquin Guzman Loera, aka El Chapo, described by the New York Times in a front-page story today as “the world’s most wanted man – the chief executive of what experts describe as the world’s most sophisticated narcotics enterprise, the Sinaloa cartel.” The mainstream press is calling the arrest a “major victory in the fight against drug gangs in Mexico.” U.S. officials, whose drug-war forces helped capture Guzman, are now seeking his extradition to the United States to stand trial for violating U.S. drug laws. All of this ballyhoo might well have an effect on […]

Badged Serial Killers

The Growing Murder Culture of Cops (Part III) by Bill Buppert Women have been ravaged and brutalized by cops in much the same way as children and others who tend to be less strong than men. They have been beat, tased, sexually assaulted, caged and maimed and killed in increasing numbers as the police ramp up their penchant for savagery on the streets against those who would dare disobey or resist. In Part One, I spoke to the cruelty and violence police are increasingly visiting on the most innocent of all – the animals. In most cases, the cops, in the name of officer safety, maim or kill the canine (and feline) offenders. In Part Two, I spoke to […]

Ham Radio

Why You Should Consider Ham Radio for Communications Posted by: Daisy Luther | Why communicate at all? For our safety, edification, and survival we need to know what is happening and what to do about it. As the plethora of prepper blogs and forums reveal, preppers have a lot to say—much of it informative, enlightening, and insightful and some of it disinformation, illogical, unmitigated drivel, and even evil. We need to screen the nuggets from the waste. Logic, critical analysis, and a well-formed conscience help us do that. Even now, before events have hit nadir, we avoid controlled media. At best, mass media is useless; at worst, it is destructive to mind, body, and soul. What mass media provides […]

dam threatens Darby, Conner, Hamilton

Good management decisions use a probability/severity matrix. If the probability and severity of an event are both low, it is not worth much time and money planning for it. High probability events deserve some consideration, but when severity is inconsequential, not much. Painted Rocks dam is earth-fill construction somewhat like the Teton Dam that spectacularly failed in the 1976 picture to the right. In risk assessment, a large dam has 4,000 acre feet of water or more. Painted Rocks reservoir typically contains 14,000 acre feet at normal annual peak. A High Hazard rating is not based on risk of failure, but if failure were to occur, the resulting consequences likely would be the direct loss of human life and extensive […]

Painted Rocks Dam. We need to act now.

by Dallas Erickson To whom it may concern: I am not writing this as a representative of the Red Cross but as the Disaster Chair for Ravalli County I have some concerns about the county’s readiness for disasters here in the valley in several respects. To mitigate of the seriousness of potential disasters it will take the cooperation of the community as a whole. One of my major concerns is that this county has more “high hazard” dams than any other county in the state. High hazard does not speak to the condition of the dams but refers to property damage and lives that could be lost in case of a failure. Two dams that would likely have significant property […]

post card from Conner

It is a different world when the snow keeps on coming and we don’t have to go anywhere. We can just relax, smile and enjoy our snug little cabin. Better still, the storm is expected to be past by the time we do have places to go and people to see. We are seeing snow like our winter on the other side of the mountains in Grangeville. Certainly no shortage of moisture in our mountains this year.   Conner, Montana 7 Day Forecast Lat: 45.93N, Lon: 114.12W Wx Zone: MTZ005 ICAO Used: KSMN Current Conditions Updated: 9:15 AM MST SUN FEB 23 2014 Sun, Moon & Time Information Mostly Cloudy Temp: 25°F °F = °C Enter temp. to convert. police state USA

The paramilitary equipment, paramilitary training, psuedo-military machismo, US vs Them mentality, focus on “officer safety”, special-weapons-and-tactics teams, no-knock team assaults and more along those lines have destroyed The Peace Officer and given us a violent oppressing force in its stead. I see it constantly, but you probably have other news sources. I assembled some examples for you and probably will add more and keep a store of them here so you all can see and feel the dark blanket of the police state take over what in my youth was widely known as A Free Country. These are all links to articles at other sites I have been to. Links may break, let me know if you can and I’ll […]

banking takeover

Rothschild-controlled Central Banks of the World Winston Smith February 4, 2012 In light of certain comments I have received, I wish to make one thing clear. I posted this list, which I did not compile, not because it points out the near omnipotent power of the Rothschild family, (anyone who is even vaguely awake knows how very powerful that dubious clan are) but rather because I want to highlight the connection between those countries that have historically avoided the central banking model, and the countries that the Western alliance keeps managing to find excuses to invade. These have been, in every case so far, one and the same. One after another, these countries have fallen to the might of the […]
