history’s worst sales pitch

The people with the podiums, microphones and 95% of the media coverage claim that bombing Syrians is both urgent and important. The reasons they give are clearly fictitious or foolish, but they are delivered professionally, repeated often and come out of many well-known mouths.

That is not cover. That does not make it right. It does not sway thinking people.

The president made public statements on a world stage that attacking Syrian people is important… a red line of some sort.

Now supposedly our military might has to be unleashed on the Syrians to avoid embarrassing Bamma.

This is a joke, right?

Well, it is a very bad one. Some folks are taking it seriously.

Nuclear war to avoid having it appear that the President of the United States of America misspoke is about the most ludicrous thing that has been put forth in the history of mankind.

“Sorry, I was mistaken” is a whole lot more honorable than murdering babies, children, families and communities. Were the ‘saving face’ line to have a scintilla of truth, these guys are dumber than a box of rocks claiming that war is the answer.

The grand drumming circle deafening themselves to all logic with their mighty poinding on the war drum might have to admit that provoking World War among nuclear powers is not excused to cover ill selected words. But they quickly jump to reason #2:

We have to stop the Syrian government from using chemical weapons.

It is widely reported in print and broadcast media all over the world, and here on the Internet that the rebels have publicly admitted it was their chemical weapon that recently killed those folks in Syria. It is also all over the net that the rebels have a lot more chemical weapons, have been caught in neighboring countries with more chemical weapons, have been training with Syrian government’s enemies on use of chemical weapons and are prepared to use them again. That is, NOT the Syrian government which Bamma bombs are aimed at, but the rebels, the chemical warriors that the Bamma bombs are going to help.

By what stretch of truth or imigination does bombing Syrian government forces who have no history or future planned use of chemical weapons have any constructive impact on the potential for another Syrian rebel chemical attack?

How can such a diametrically-opposed solution be put out as justification for war?

Who is buying this sales pitch?

The most important thing thinking people can take from the media blitz is:
The pitchmen know all of the above.
They disrespect their audience.
They, to put in the kindest terms possible, are completely Truth Challenged.

Watch their delivery. This is how they look and sound when they are lying.

Take note for future reference. Next time you see them looking and hear them sounding like this, rest assured, they are lying again. It will make knowing the truth much easier for you. Whatever they say, the opposite is more likely true.

… Now on to the news. I’m trying to provide updates here as I know the television networks are leaving this stuff out …

Syrian Rebel Admits Using Chemical Weapons
… Baloosh speaks of “chemicals which produce lethal and deadly gases that I possess,” before going on to state, “We decided to harm them through their women and kids.”

Baloosh ponders if it is acceptable to harm women and children before quoting the Koran, “Fight them as they fight you. ” He goes on to quote Osama Bin Laden (whom other rebel groups have openly praised).

“We’ll kill their women and children like Sheikh Osama Bin Laden said – “until they cease killing our women and kids,” he states…

Putin: Kerry’s lies ‘Pathetic’

Adan Salazar
Sept. 5, 2013

On the eve of the G-20 Leaders’ Summit, Russian president Vladimir Putin had some harsh words regarding U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry’s campaign for Syrian intervention.

“We talk with these people. We assume that they are decent. But he lies,” Putin said of Kerry’s drive to go to war, according to Time Magazine. “And he knows that he lies. That’s pathetic.”

The remarks “seemed more fitting for a barroom scrap than a Kremlin statement…” Time Magazine claimed.

Since the Syrian chemical weapons attack that took place on August 21, Kerry has fiercely attempted to sell Congress and the American public on the immediate necessity of a no-boots-on-the-ground military strike on Syria.

As Putin pointed out, however, the former presidential contender and Skull and Bones initiate has not been very honest in representing certain aspects of the scenario in Syria.

During his speech last Friday, for instance, Kerry said that at least 1,429 Syrians were killed in the chemical weapons attack “including at least 426 children.” That number was greatly exaggerated from a figure quoted by international aid group Doctors Without Borders, who claimed the actually number of dead was 355.

During the same speech, Kerry also described seeing “…rows of dead lined up in burial shrouds, the white linen unstained by a single drop of blood.” In fact, Kerry was describing a propaganda photo “accidentally” used by the BBC last year (interestingly, also in a push for Syrian invasion) which was retracted after it was found to be a photo from the 2003 Iraq war.

According to Time, Putin also took issue with Kerry’s denial that Al-Qaeda forces were infiltrating ranks in the Free Syrian Army, a fact that Infowars and others have constantly driven home.

“They lie beautifully, of course. I saw debates in Congress. A congressman asks Mr Kerry: ‘Is al Qaeda there?’ He says: ‘No, I am telling you responsibly that it is not’,” Putin said, according to a Reuters report covering a meeting of Russia’s Presidential Council of Human Rights.

“Al Qaeda units are the main military echelon, and they know this,” Putin stated. “It was unpleasant and surprising for me – we talk to them, we proceed from the assumption that they are decent people. But he is lying and knows he is lying. It’s sad.”

Putin is correct in his assertions. During the past year, Infowars has been at the forefront of reporting on the merging of elements within the Free Syrian Army with jihadist elements that possess direct ties to al Qaeda groups and thus to the CIA.

For months, we have repeatedly documented brutal attacks led by these groups, including attacks on Christian churches, terrorist bombings and grisly, unchecked massacres.

Additionally, the London Telegraph has also reported that several Syrian rebel groups have pledged allegiance to the Jabhat al-Nusra Front, an al-Qaeda affiliate group responsible for killing American troops in Iraq and which was designated a terror group by the State Department last December.

Even The New York Times has had to report that “Most of the arms shipped at the behest of Saudi Arabia and Qatar to supply Syrian rebel groups fighting the government of Bashar al-Assad are going to hard-line Islamic jihadists, and not the more secular opposition groups.”

Despite a wealth of evidence supporting the fact that if we launch into a Syrian intervention we will, as Congressmen Dennis Kucinich and Ted Cruz put it, be “Al Qaeda’s air force,” the president, his Secretary of State and Congressmen in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee who voted in favor of a strike yesterday are unfazed in their desire to go to war.

An intervention strategy was approved in a 10-7 vote which outlined that such strikes should last no longer than 90 days – an irrational timeline, given that wars are by their very nature unpredictable.
